Closed Circuit Television - TerrorWatch project
»TEeRroOIisSt« is a closed circuit installation. The images captured by its camera are processed in real-time and projected back into the room. The recorded image is converted to ASCII characters from the word »TEeRroOIisSt« and the software attempts to find and highlight »suspects« in what it sees. Powerful technology provides surveillance which meets the individual, the tension between privacy and automated control becomes evident.
